Split Mountain Airport has spectacular views of Dinosaur National Moment’s Split Mountain. This private airstrip has few visitors making it quiet & serene. Fly or drive in. Pilot lounge has a microwave, refrigerator and 1/2 bathroom for pilots. Pilots may camp with their aircraft, all other vehicles will be 300 ft from buildings in the north field.Spectacular view of Dinosaur National Monuments Split Mountain. Desert setting with lots of space. Tent or RV site is on top of a bluff overlooking the valley about two miles from the monument. Dispersed camping allowed at least 200 ft away from restroom and 300 feet away from white tiny home. If other hipcampers are on site please camp at least 50 feet away. Please be mindful of any and all staying on the property.
