The views and morning sunrise are were so pretty. Campsites are clearly marked. Loved seeing the bison on the way out.

The Campground at capitol reef was full and this was close by. I am actually glad I ended up staying here instead. We got bit up by mosquitos (the river is close by) but it was nice to get away from the crowds in the park. The views were incredible. I had full cell phone signal, It was quiet even with the highway near by. The wind did pick up at night but it didn't bother us, I think tent camping I would have felt differenly. I felt safe and I slept great! My one complaint is there is a bright orange light that took away from the stargazing.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. It’s very close to Bryce Canyon National Park (less than 30 minutes!), and VERY private. The porta potty was very clean, as were the sites, which we were fortunate enough to have all to ourselves.
We really did like the spot, but it was almost a little too in the middle of nowhere (especially for having so little amenities). Regardless, if you’re looking for a private spot, with a gorgeous view of some Utah mountains, this is the place!

Hidden gem!
Stunning secluded spot! The only negative thing that I would say, I wish I knew there was only one picnic table per the entire Campground, Otherwise I would've packed a table. The outhouse was super clean, the views were incredible. And the land was very flat. I will absolutely be back.
