Flaming Gorge Resort has been family owned and operated since 1971. Our 55 acres is surrounded by the beautiful Ashley National Forest and magnificent scenery. We have everything for your stay in our restaurant, fly shop/convenience store, raft shop, fishing guide service, fuel, boat storage and much more.
We have been on the road for 9 weeks and have stayed at some great places!!!! This has become our number 1!!!! Clean, spacious sites, customer service is excellent!!!! The surrounding areas are gorgeous and fun to explore!!!! Lots to see and do!!!!!
This is a classic RV park, with slots designed for large, pull-in campers. It has wonderful amenities and the best, cleanest and most pleasant bathrooms I have ever seen. As a transient camp, it's superb.
However, although slightly more space apart-- and shadier, yea!-- than many rv parks, it is still a bit crowded and not very private. We were right on top of a neighboring house, almost looking in the window!
A well run albeit conventional site.
First time visit here and reviews were great on Host however I couldn’t reach her for first 36 hours trying to book. Come to find out she had some family emergencies and gal running her front desk jumped in and got us set up, the grounds are nice and the restroom and showers are the absolute best I have seen. Decent WiFi in our site 24. Hiked to Bear Canyon from the campsite, although only 3 miles round trip, a beautiful view to see. Definitely would recommend a stay here.
This is a fantastic, well maintained RV park. Everything is as described. They have full hook ups available, as well as some pull throughs.
The Bathroom/Shower house is incredibly nice and well maintained. I would describe them as being community versions of a nice house hold/hotel bathroom. Nice toilets, granite looking countertops, showers with heat lamps, fully functioning doors and stone tiling. Very nice.
The manager/owner was also very helpful and hospitable.
Gorgeous drive to the site, breathtaking views. Hosts are very nice and friendly. Very safe. Bathrooms are in the center of the campsite with hot water for showers. Very clean. There are some RVs being stored there but they are off to a particular spot in the park. Each site has its own picnic table and our site have a fire pit.
