Tesla camping with my furbaby.
16 ft car · With pets ·
⸻ This campsite is easy to book and available for last-minute stays. It’s also easy to find. Sheyenne responds quickly and is very helpful in answering any questions. I’m driving a Tesla Model Y, and it was able to reach the site without any issues. The last 500 meters are on a dirt road, but a high-clearance vehicle isn’t necessary. The campsite is located near the road, so expect some noise but i am okay with it. Plus offering views of the town and mountains. It felt safe, especially for a solo female traveler with a dog. We had a great night! Plus, a superfast Tesla charging station is approximately 10 minutes away.

I loved camping at this site. It was absolutely gorgeous. Conveniently located for me, since I was traveling through, but so stunningly beautiful, and felt further away from the interstate than it was!

Sheyenne was very accommodating. The land was gorgeous; we could hear cows, which we loved. Definitely would recommend at least a suv for the road. We had a smaller suv and it did great. Very spacious and separated from other sites. It’s primitive camping so bring the necessities. Worth the money!

Peaceful stop
16 ft car ·
This was a great stop, I felt safe as a solo traveling woman sleeping in my Forester (no pets with me). Beautiful sunset, clear night sky and sunrise. The turn off road was a bit hard to see but once I turned around and went slow I found it. Road noise really wasn’t all that bad.

Good setting in nature, yet not too far off I-70. Good communication from Sheyenne. A great value for what I paid.

It worked out great! Only con is everyone driving by could see me parked, cars came through 1 about every 15-30 min. At one point kids were screaming on an ATV, lots of them would go by. Pros by a beautiful hot spring!
