Excellent choice close to Zion NP
We loved camping on Nicole‘s place. The place was quiet, beautiful and wild while preserving the privacy will definitely be back.

While this camp was located close to Zion park I did not feel it was good value for the price. Its only amenity was an unkept outhouse and the road in was extremely bumpy. We saw many campers parked on nearby side roads who at least had shade. We did not see the host at all during our 3 night stay.

This campground was easy to find and has plenty of space to spread out.
It was fairly quiet and has a great view. The outdoor shower was a huge plus!
There is not much shade so bring a canopy if you want to sit outside while the sun is still out.
The campgrounds are a work in progress and I see so much potential here!

Lights in our eyes
Sites aren't well marked. This led to another camper walking into our camp around 9:45pm, waking us up with a flashlight in our eyes, to ask where is Site 5. Must be on the other side, we replied. Went back to sleep. About 45 minutes later, the camp post did a similar thing, creeped into our camp with a flashlight in our eyes, waking us up. He asked if our car was stuck. Clearly it was not; there is no way for a car to get stuck on hard pack, covered with a half inch bit of soft dirt. There was no water in the creek save for a small spot with stagnant water, so they were plenty of mosquitoes. We planned for that with bug spray, but wanted to mention that and the red ants everywhere. There is a road nearby so make sure you orient your sleeping direction away from the road or you will have headlights coming through your eyelids all night. Otherwise, it was calm and peaceful.

It is a great off the beaten path place. The host was super nice but the amenities listed were pretty rough. If you aren’t a prima donna. Its perfect

The campsite was so cute and well kept. I was looking forward to it being next to the creek, but there was no water in the creek at the time we were there. The site is close to the bathroom and the shower. This campground is close to everything. You’re close to the town of LaVerkin and hurricane and close to the entrance of Zion national Park.
