The perfect way to escape the heat of summer, and the crowds of Zion National Park. Kolob Campground, Kolob Terrace Road, and Kolob Reservoir is a quiet location nestled between the main canyons of Zion National Park and the remote Kolob Finger Canyons Complex at Zion National Park. With quick access to West Rim Trail, Subway Canyon, Hop Valley Trail, and Wildcat Canyon Trail, this area of Greater Zion is not to be missed.   Located in a private gated area on the shores of Kolob Reservoir, Kolob Campground is the premiere location for camping on Kolob Mountain in the Greater Zion National Park area.  Kolob Campground is located adjacent to the Kolob Reservoir boat ramp and dock, including four acres of private shoreline. Just a few feet from the paved road, nestled in tall aspen, oak, and pine trees.  Access to potable water is available adjacent to camp, and public restrooms (vault toilets) are only a short walk from camp. WiFi access is available nearby at Kolob Adventure Rentals/Adventure Beach (3 minute walk). WiFi location and password provided by host upon request. This is an exclusive benefit available to our guests, and the only WiFi available to campers in the area. Canoe, kayak and SUP rentals, snacks and beverages are also located nearby.  LP(propane) fires are allowed and LP fire bowls can be provided through the camp host. LP fuel is also available for purchase. Wood burning, charcoal, and smoking currently not allowed due to area restriction.

Great view! Great host!
Large site with great view. Some shade. Good fire pit but propane (no wood fire permitted while we were there) is very expensive. Great caring host: helpful, informative and reliable. Good instructions to get there. The campground is high up (more than 8000 ft high) and i got altitude sickness. John va helpful and reassuring. We could not rent kayaks because it was too late in the season. Very cold at night!

Kolob rulz
The host John was great, I camped from9/23-9/26 and there were only a handful of other campers so it was very peaceful…only porta potties and a potable water tap near the boat ramp, but john provided (via rental) use of a propane fire pit which did the trick! Wi-Fi only near entrance, but good enough for check ins…

Best campsite ever
One of the most beautiful, peaceful, and stunning campsites I have ever been to. It was the highlight of our Utah trip. The only downside is that it is an hour from Zion.

10/10 experience! The staff member on duty checked in with me to make sure everything was going alright and that I was settling in well every night! My little spot was perfect for my jeep, and had plenty of room for another vehicle and a tent as well. Easy to get into & find your spot. The lake was a pretty view!

Loving the scenery
I loved my camping trip fantastic view of the lake, the scenery was amazing. Getting to see fall here is a must I’ll definitely be back and the fishing was great as well I cannot complain about anything in this campground. Thanks for having us !
