Tree Tent is hosted by Monica and Bengt Jonsson together with Huts and Hills. It is located in the beautiful countryside between Stockholm and Uppsala. The quite small town is called Knivsta.
Access -
We highly recommend taking the train and walking through the forest (30 - 40 min). It is also an easy and interesting adventure to get here by bicycle! Of course you can drive here as well, plenty of parking and no off road driving required.
History -
The Tree Tent area is location on our small farm. Some years ago we took over the land around our house. We have sheeps and bees and plan for develop.
The surroundings were just converted into a nature reserve. There are different types of nature in the forest and Upplandsleden, the hiking trail, passes right behind our land.
Inspired of Huts and Hills we saw the possibility to offer overnight in treetent. We are so glad for the cooperate with them.
Adventures
You can overnight in the treetent if you hike Upplandsleden from Sigtuna to Uppsala or why not just take a night in the nature if you live in Knivsta or other places not far from here.
If you are turist we live close to interesting historical places. Many years ago the vikings past not far from here. If you want more cityfeeling you can go to Stockholm, Uppsala or Sigtuna, 10 - 50 km from here.

OVER NIGHT CAMP STAY - UNDER CONSTRUCTION . This summer we have only put up one tent. We try our best to find smart and pleasant solutions to make your experience as wonderful as we want it to be.

Open to the General Public Juli 1th to September 15thTrädtältet svävar bland tallarna med utsikt över gård, betesmarker och odlingsfält. Du omges av en lantlig idyll med betande får och surrande bin. För måltider och avkoppling kan du använda stenhällar, grillplatsen vid skogskanten eller vårt "naturkök" byggt med återanvänt virke. Vårt dass är ännu inte klart men ett väl fungerande torrdass med tvättmöjligheter är inrett i vår vedbod. Färskvatten hämtar du utanför vårt boningshus. Du kan vara här helt ostörd, om du vill, men kontakta oss gärna om du har frågor och funderingar. När vi har något event på gården är du varmt välkommen att vara med.
