We are hard at work reclaiming the land to make it a park like setting. You are 2 miles from old Downtown Mansfield. ( Several quaint shops and restaurants ) There are large open areas and also forest areas. Awesome quiet place. Spots are definitely spacious. I have stayed before and continue to stay at times. Bugs dont get too bad and noise is minimum. I would recommend, Rod and eddie are great hosts!

I appreciated Rod's communication even before arriving. We were shown around and helped to our site by a nice Hispanic man (can't remember his name). The campsite was quiet and simple, I liked how much space each one site had. There was a portable toilet for our use and they made sure it was clean for use, that makes a difference! There was not water so pack some. But there is electricity, which was great! Overall, I recommend this campground.

I have a great time this weekend. Easy to follow the maps and find the gate i was greeted on time and shown my spot and hooked to power no problem, also had a party potty next to me easy access. I would and will be going here again. Great spot!
