Welcome to Twin Tree Ranch, a stunning 38-acre property located 5 min from "The BBQ Capital of Texas" Lockhart. Offering a perfect blend of serene landscapes and modern amenities. Nestled amidst nature, this ranch features a picturesque natural creek filled with fish that gracefully meanders through the center of the property, dividing it into two distinct yet complementary areas. On one side of the creek, you'll find expansive open fields, perfect for various outdoor activities and events. You will notice a large 3 story barn house, which offers BBQ grills, firewood, towels, first aid kits, farm fresh eggs, and a water refill spigots. Additionally, this side of the ranch is equipped with a hot tub, 3 showers and two bathrooms, ensuring a refreshing and comfortable stay. Cross the creek to discover a tranquil wooded area, providing a more immersive camping experience. Here, you can set up camp amidst the trees, enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, and create lasting memories around the campfire. Things to note: - We can not guarantee that you will be the only group on a campsite - Camp locations are first come first serve - You may be adjacent to or within earshot of other campers - There are neighboring ranches, you may hear gun fire (we're in Texas) - Fishing is catch and release only - Other guests may have dogs - There are 2 ranch dogs on the property, they are large but friendly - Water refill spigots are located by the outdoor showers on the near side on the property.

Site 1 - Wooded Creekside Camping
Great nature feel/ Bathroom is far
We went for group camp. Some pros and cons: Pros: Good nature feel. Feels secluded and trees all around Host Arthur is kind and helpful Cons: The campsites are a bit far from bathroom and needs a car ride since there is a creek in between that you cannot walk Our campsite had a lot of thorny bushes growing on the ground which were poking through our tents. There is only 1 -2 good camp sites though there are 7 listed. Great spot if you get the one main campsite.

Great camping spot, Arthur was helpful and relaxed. Only note is that for the tent spots, the toilet is a short drive.

Hassle free primitive spot!
Hassle free camping spot, not far from shower and. Bathroom, verify hot tub is working properly. I’d definitely book this place again. My dog loved exploring the area and met the 2 main camp dogs in the front office.

Sadly, Not As Expected
I believe an honest review with genuine feedback is always helpful. We had really high hopes for this site, but given what I paid for the experience, I unfortunately wouldn’t book again. For what it’s worth, the location is excellent and it has SO much potential!! Our site was not mowed at all and overrun with tall grass. We were quite concerned about ticks. While host was on property the entire time and did respond to inquiries, there was little to no communication about location of amenities until we asked. We had to ask about the hot tub, we had to ask for the free firewood bundle, there was no kitchen with readily available cooking utensils. We had bought groceries to cook and luckily were able to do so with some basics like a charcoal grill and coals. One of the bathroom doors wouldn’t open, and the other was very dirty. The toilet needed a scrubbing and dirty soap bars. Also in the common area was a GIANT hornets nest with live hornets. We brought this up to the host and he asked us to show him where and then said he cold plunged there everyday and they were harmless. Let me be clear and say that I understand we were tent camping—but I booked this particular site due to some of the “creature comfort” offers that left us underwhelmed. Sadly, I would not book again but believe that the property has great potential for the future. Needs tidying up and communication from the host. My suggestion is just to be honest about what you’re offering, or don’t charge a premium.
