Sleep with the bugs

Stargazer Tent

In the three minutes I spent inside the tent, we saw at least 5 crickets and a 1 giant spider. It was clearly not protected from the elements. We did not feel comfortable standing in the tent, let alone sleep there. The host refuses to refund.

Beautiful, serene, and bucolic!

Cozy Retreat Tent

A beautiful, serene and bucolic setting in the Texas hill country with large room Glamping wall tents and comfortable beds. The communal cooking and bathroom/shower area meets all your needs for basic cooking/microwaving etc and a fridge to use as well. The hosts, Dennnis & Karen are warm and delightful people who treated us to an eclipse breakfast and pulled pork sandwich lunch with wine and more. My wife and I highly recommend their getaway property.

Cozy Retreat Tent

A great site, with a great view. It is about thirty minutes from Boerne, Texas where you can go shopping and dine out.

Escape Tent

This is not a place to go if you require luxury or your own private bathroom at a minimum. I was aware it would be a community bathroom situation, but did not expect the “communal” bath to be inside an old, parked RV. The tent itself, however, was great and accommodating. Gorgeous views, secluded and mostly private.
