Cleaning:
This is a self clean rental! Please do your part to keep this space super nice/clean and super affordable. We only charge a $15 fee to cover a property inspector (not cleaner). In return, you will need to clean up after yourself. We provide instructions in the cabin. This is about 20 minutes worth of work and saves you a lot of money. Help us make this world a better place, and leave *everywhere* better than you found it.
★ NOTE: Guests who do not self clean will be billed a $75 cleaning fee ★
Bathroom: We provide a composting outhouse for your use. Instructions on site.
Water: You will need to bring your drinking water with you. We do not provide potable water. We do provide a limited amount of non potable water good for washing dishes and solar bag showers.
✧ We provide a large covered Pilot Rock charcoal grill for cooking.
✧ We provide a 2 burner cooktop, hooked up to our propane tank (propane is provided for you).
✧ We provide a propane wall heater.
✧ PLEASE NOTE this cabin is TINY (9x11)! Comfortable for max of 4 people for sleeping.
Please be considerate of others in the area. No bright lights, and no loud noises. Everyone is here to experience the tranquility and darkness together. We have a very small cabin that has a bed that will sleep 1 or 2 comfortably. If you have more than 2 guests in your party, they will need to bring tents to sleep in. This is an excellent private site for small respectful camper group who need a home base to explore the Big Bend region.
We have a rainwater catchment tank that you can use to fill a solar shower bag and enjoy a private outdoor shower at the cabin (in warmer months).
We are on 10 acres and the area surrounding us is all private property, so we ask our guests to please be respectful and stay on the grounds / don't trespass onto neighboring properties.
We have beautiful mountain views with great sunrise/sunsets, easy in and out on an all weather dirt road (1/2 mile of dirt).
We're excited to host you and your group!
