This site is relaxing and remote. My son and I had a great time. We fish, saw some amazing stars, and felt like we had the 600 acres to ourselves. The host, William was great and accommodating. I'm going to be using this a my personal creation day just to do some creative work and hang out by myself and get lost in nature. It's close by 1 hour from Katy TX so it was a fast drive.

An amazing experience. Williams land is breathtaking and remote. There is so much nature and the forest come alive at night. William was very accommodating, kind and explained to us everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay to the fullest at the camp. I will definitely be going back and we'll recommend to everyone I know looking for the perfect getaway.

Our family had the most amazing New Year’s getaway at Murphy’s River Camp! The setting was absolutely breathtaking, with incredible views that made every moment feel magical. Great property!! Each camp site has its own character and theme to it, there is always something new to discover! My son and I enjoyed exploring, fishing, kayaking and riding the trails. The host William is very accommodating and there is tons of space and privacy between campsites. We can’t wait to come back in the spring!
