Site 6 - Bus Stop Camp Ground
Stayed here for three days while checking out big bend, great place to camp, would highly recommend it. Easily some of the nicest bathrooms and showers I've ever had at a campsite. Each site has a picnic table, a fire pit and a sink with running water. Their Wifi worked great and they had firewood on site for purchase. We had plenty of privacy at our spot and a great view of the night sky.

Incredible Views
We recently stayed at The Bus Stop Campground in Terlingua, and it was an incredible experience! The campground offers stunning desert views that are simply breathtaking. The amenities are impressive for a desert location, including wash tubs, WiFi, and full hookups, making it very accommodating.
The heavy stakes and metal hammer provided made setting up my tent a breeze, even in the windy conditions. At night, the views were magnificent—star-gazing here is a must! The peaceful atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a perfect getaway.
I highly recommend The Bus Stop Campground for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the desert while having essential comforts. I’ll definitely be back!

No regrets!
If I could stay here forever I would, unfortunately the road trip must continue. Beautiful views, clean and stocked (flush!) toilets, an outdoor shower with a great view (with hot water), fire pits, picnic tables, I could go on! It was a beautiful site and we couldn't ask for more. The wifi could be a little spotty, but we were pretty far from it
If you played around with your phone a bit, it would reconnect. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this site whether you're a glamper, or just need a quick respite from rough camping on the road for so long like us.

A fine hidden gem near Big Bend NP
Whatever you expect from a serene and isolated campground, you will find here, and much more than that.
You will have an electric hook-up, running water, fire-ring, shower, and toilet; in all clean and well maintained condition.
Every night, I couldn’t easily go to bed because the night sky was so beautiful.
David, the owner of this campground is very friendly and informative; good communication skill, a great amount of knowledge and history of the area.
The only con was the tent ground which was to hard to hammer pegs into. But this campground provided strong sets of iron pegs, and thus it wasn’t a big issue.
I love this place, and I will surely come back soon.

Easy Peasy with Perfect Views
This was a perfect last night in Terlingua for us. It was so easy to find, and we pulled right up and set up camp. At site 07, it was an easy walk downhill to the outdoor bathhouse and bathrooms. The sunsets and sunrise were amazing, and of course the stars! Zero complaints, and a great place to stay after canoeing the Rio Grande! Also, very thankful for those sturdy tent stakes, what a life saver.
