Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and star gazers, this private 5-acre self-cleaning campsite offers a completely secluded experience in nature. Disconnect, unwind, and make unforgettable memories in one of Texas' most picturesque areas.Enjoy our private campsite all to yourself on 5 acres in the majestic Terlingua Ranch! The beautiful campsite is nestled near the Christmas mountains and is accessible by truck or car. Feel free to explore the property and take in the incredible sunrise/sunset views as well as the remarkable night sky. There is enough space around the fire pit for 2-3 regular size tents. Just up the road (all the way down Terlingua ranch rd) you will find the Terlingua Ranch Lodge and office as well as the bad rabbit cafe, pool, and other amenities. The campsite is seated just 10 miles away from the entrance to Big Bend National park. This is a primitive, self-cleaning campsite; please message us if you have any questions and we will do our best to assist and/or provide recommendations!

Firepit. If you would like to make a fire you must bring your own firewood. It is your responsibility to observe current local fire bans and to make sure you completely douse the fire upon departing. Remember, LEAVE NO TRACE.

This is a self-cleaning “leave no trace” campsite. Please be respectful of the land and clean up after yourself. There are public trash bins a bit further down Terlingua ranch rd on the left. BEWARE: if any trash is left on site you will be charged $100 cleaning fee per night MINIMUM
