Terlingua Ranch is 192,000 acres of desert and mountains between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park in far SW Texas. Our campsites are in the area of the Terlingua Ranch Lodge, which features a swimming pool, cafe, laundry, bathhouse, disc golf course, access to hiking trails, and other amenities. Terlingua Ranch is the perfect venue for your basecamp to Big Bend adventures, family reunions, and myriad other activities in the area.

Big Bend trip
The unexpected great swimming pool was a nice cooling relief in the afternoons.

Privacy with convenience!
I very much enjoyed staying at the Terlingua Ranch Lodge and Campground. Very private but only a short walk to restaurant, store, and swimming. Very helpful staff with great local knowledge. I have marked this as a way point in my GPS as I will be back soon.

Lower Primitive Camping-Site 2
Overall, the campsite was nice. The road to get in was extremely rough and there was no map/instructions when we got there like they said there would be, but the employees were super kind the next day.

I loved the night sky. The only complaint we really had were the bugs and the restrooms . Other than that we had a great time

Upper primitive campsite 2
We absolutely love Terlingua Ranch! We were the only tent campers in the upper sites, so it was private and the views were incredible. The pool is the best perk to cool off after hiking. Restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. Cafe with WiFi was awesome. Will definitely be back.
