Terlingua Belle is a furnished 13 foot glamping tent with heat, air conditioning and a private bathhouse located just minutes from the Ghosttown. The tent is set up on a private "nook" on the property - no other tents or tipis on the property! Comfortable outdoor seating makes for an amazing view of the night sky as well as beautiful sunrises. Lighted pathways lead from the parking area to the tent and from the tent to the bathhouse.
Belle is located about 1 mile off the highway on a dirt road.
Inside Belle: Drift away to dreamland on a comfortable full size mattress with a 2 inch memory foam topper. Cotton sheets and down comforter are provided as well as an extra blanket. There is a heater for chilly nights and mornings. If you are traveling during warmer weather, there is an air conditioner to help keep the tent more comfortable. There are a couple of floor cushions to lounge on when inside. The solar lamp can be turned on and off remotely. While Belle is a smaller bell tent, the interior still feels quite roomy and comfortable. There is limited wifi inside the tent but you may better access a shared wifi account from the parking area. Belle is meant to be an unplugged experience :-). There is a dual port solar bank for charging phones overnight.
Outside Belle: Belle is positioned on a deck with a short step down to two comfortable chairs for viewing the Chisos Mountains in the distance. In front of the deck is a small firepit, a weber grill, and a camp kitchen.
Camp kitchen - There is a two burner propane stove as well as a cook pot with lid and a cast iron skillet. Inside the kitchen box, you will find cooking utensils, silverware, bowls, plates, glasses, coffee mugs. Salt and pepper and olive are provided as well. Non-potable water is accessed via a faucet plumbed to a gravity fed water tank. Be sure to bring plenty of drinking water!
Weber grill - There is a small weber grill with grilling utensils.
You'll need to bring your own charcoal.
Firepit - you'll need to bring your own firewood. The firepit is small and cozy so please don't bring monster logs with you :-)
Private bathhouse with shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, towels. Getting to the bathhouse requires a short walk but the pathway is well lit.Belle is set up on a private "nook" on the property - no other tents or tipis on the property! The bathhouse is a short walk down the hill.
