Weekend Reset 🏕️
When I visited the property, I was pleasantly surprised by the setup! Cheryl and Randy were amazing hosts. Cheryl gave me a detailed tour of the property, making sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. Our one night stay was perfect, and we wished we could have stayed longer. This is an ideal spot to relax and unwind, hosted by wonderful people. It's definitely worth it!

Best Trip Ever!!!
Our stay at Randy’s and Cheryl’s was amazing, words cannot describe how lovely everything was. My husband, daughter and I arrived on Friday. Upon entering, Cheryl was there to meet us. Right from the begging she made us feel welcomed. She showed us around and explained some of the activists we could do. Originally the cabin we had booked was basically a studio (where all the rooms are together.) My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary, so Cheryl moved us to a cabin with separate rooms. This was so nice of Cheryl. She had also bought us an anniversary gift(flowers with a cute Happy anniversary sign.) Cheryl then walked us to our cabin and it was BEAUTIFUL. We then settled in and made ourself comfortable(it was raining a lot but we didn’t mind.) We made food and watched a movie. After the rain stopped we went for a swim, then hiked and ended the night by the fireplace making s’mores. (We had a bit of trouble starting the fire pit but Randy was there to help us. Randy was amazing all questions and concerns he was there to help. :) We then went back to the cabin watched another movie and called it a night. One thing that really stood out to us, was the night sky and the stars. The stars were so bright and beautiful nothing compares to a view like that. The next day we explores some more. We visit the other cabins around, which were a small gym, and a beautiful Chapel. We check out on Sunday and we’re sad to go. However, were already planning our next visit.:)

A Respite for the Soul
1. Upon arrival, the directions were simple and the entrance gate was easy to find. 2. The "welcome team" consisted of two of the nicest furry pups we've ever met. The hosts met us at the main house and greeted us warmly. They had lots of info and a detailed tour of the entire property which was available to use. They took us to our cabin which was spotless and comfortable. 3. The hosts made it clear they were a walk/text/call away but that after the initial schpiel, they would leave us alone and respect our need for quiet. 4. Upon unpacking in the cabin, the amenities were fantastic and there were so many small details that were put there in a considerate and caring way. Ex: bird watching book & binocs, a ring holder in the bathroom, a little welcome note with encouragement, a small ceramic jar of sweets, and even a small tucked-away little mosquito repeller for summer time. Every detail was done in consideration for the comfort of the guests. We felt very loved. 5. We had our furry friend escort us around the property and we enjoyed lots of space to both move around outdoors and stay indoors cozy but not cramped. 6. We also toured all the other cabins since we were the only ones staying that weekend and they all are so well designed with tables/beds/kitchen/bath/etc. 7. We spent a good hour saying goodbye on the last day and hearing about the ministry and mission of these two lovely people. We left rested and filled.
