Pull thru RV Site 8
We actually stayed in site 9 :)
We loved staying on Ken & Jenifer's ranch The land was beautiful, the sites were very well maintained, and there was plenty of shade. A huge plus considering it was 105! Ken had a need to accommodate another guest and asked us to move from site 8 to site 9 at the last minute. We really had no issues with this, and were quite happy to help out. There was another guest using a cabin right next to us, but apart from seeing them and their dogs when we first pulled in, they were silent. I will say that due to tight road trip time lines we pulled into our space after 7pm and left to visit the park (Pedenales) at 8 pm for a stent, then again the next morning at 8 am. My husband came back for the trailer right at 11. So, we really didn't spend a whole lotta time at the actual site. The driveway into the property was a bit of a surprise. Totally doable, but did catch us by surprise. We weren't expecting such a steep grade. Coming from CO, it's something we are very use to, but having been driving through NM and EastTX for the last 4 days, it was like we'd forgotten we could! Sneaky driveway. Haha.

RV Site 3
Rustic camping in the hill country.
Extremely steep entry to the park. Nice rustic camping area. Lots of wild landscaping. It was different for us to have RV hook ups at the back of the spot instead of in the side. Great location, very near to the state park. Good WiFi. Spot 3 was a little tight to back in with a 33’ fifth wheel due to narrow lanes and site marker placement. The tree limbs hanging into the roads are great for shade but difficult to navigate an RV around. On site manager was very welcoming and friendly. Lots of dead Black Widow spiders in the public bathroom. Glad they were dead! Our family staying in a near by cabin killed two scorpions inside. It’s best to keep in mind that you are camping and there are critters everywhere.

Bird House Gypsy Wagon
Thank you!
The wagon was charming and suited my needs with easy access to all the great amenities. I would recommend replacing the power strip with a longer cord for easier reach. The hosts were helpful and gracious. Thank you! I will definitely consider this place again when in the area.
