Phase 2 of Phillips Solar Farms
We had a good time here in our RV. The kids stayed entertained playing in the dirt, and creek. The camp host, Sean and his wife were so kind. Sean even gathered a wheelbarrow full of cool rocks, and spread them in the creek for the kids to "hunt" for the rocks! We were in lot 2, and it was a great size, and plenty of trees for us to hang 7 hammocks

Phase 2 of Phillips Solar Farms
Has potential
Our host at this site was exceptional, he was a great communicator and got our mail right to us (we live full time on the road). On the downside, if you have dogs or children this is not the place for you. The neighbor is a real problem, they have a literal pack of dogs that runs through the neighborhood chases cars, and I was told bit the mailman at one point. We arrived with 2 big dogs and 2 small children and did not feel safe walking playing outside due to these dogs. Yes this place is close to town, and yes it had potential, but the dog issue needs resolved, or a full fence put up I think our host is working on that. Due to dogs it was also loud, lots of barking, I think every here as at least one or two dogs. If you need a quick stopover this will work, make sure you bring a 4 wheel drive the ground is pretty soft (we stayed in February) but everyone we talked to was very kind and welcoming. If they get this site all cleaned up, fenced, resolve dog issues, it could be a great place! It's only 10 min from downtown Tyler.
