A paradise for nature enthusiasts! With its vast acreage, picturesque ponds, diverse wildlife, and opportunities for camping, fishing, and horseback riding, it offers a perfect escape into the great outdoors. The option to enjoy campfires and provision of food and beverages adds to the allure of the experience. It seems like an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility and adventure in a natural setting.

Sunset Pond Site B
We loved our trip to Morrison Farm!!! The horses all about really made it a fun trip! Woke up to one of the babies saying hello to our cat lol. It's built more for camper life as the ground has the typical hostile plant life for that area of Texas. As well as fire ants!! While still remaining close to civilization, privacy was a staple here. All around beautiful property at a great price!!

Sunset Pond
This was a frustration from start to finish. Communication was extremely poor from start to finish. I called when I was 15 minutes away as instructed, but no answer. Voicemail wasn't even set up to leave a message. I texted, messaged via the app and waited. We arrived to a locked gate. Eventually I hopped the fence and walked to the house where I eventually found someone to let us in. Long story short, the people living at the location had no idea we were coming and hadn't prepared at all. No restroom was available as promised. A porta potty was on premise, but nowhere near our campsite and still filthy from previous campers. Luckily we were fathers with our boys so we managed, but it could have been a far different story. Firewood I paid for in advance wasn't available. The gate was locked again in the morning with a different lock so we were effectively trapped- VERY unsafe if we'd had an emergency overnight. The campsite actually isn't a campsite. We were given quite a bit of area, but there are no tent sites. Primitive camping with no water or electricity can be great, but it should include a designated flat area for a tents. The field was mowed by tractor, leaving rather tall hard stalky grass. On the plus side, we were alone and enjoyed letting the boys run and play without any other campers around. I was offered a minimal discount, but considering the many inconveniences, poor communication and total lack of preparation, I can't recommend this host.

It was so peaceful. Woke up with horses about 15 yards away grazing it was just beautiful. Great camping experience.

Lots of land to find a private spot on. It was easy to find and just as described. At night you can hear coyotes in the distance. And during the day you can watch the horses. Depending on the time of year, you’ll likely hear a few gunshots as there is hunting nearby. We had a great stay here

Helpful & Hospitable!
Greggory and his wife were very welcoming and kind. We were a bit lost looking for our site on their large property but they came out and walked with us the whole way -- at night! Very kind. In the morning we took the kids kayaking and they came by to check if we needed anything or wanted to visit the larger pond instead of the smaller one by our site. The site was relatively peaceful -- I would suggest having a car that can handle bumps, depending on the site you have. Bring your own toilet paper, hand sanitizer, etc. The port-a-potty I used looked unused / not serviced for a long time -- but it didn't smell.
