We love Meri-D’s
With kids
We had such a wonderful time! The property is very peaceful. The RV had absolutely everything we needed. Fully stocked with cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, towels and pillows. The Amenities are perfect and all you need. Very close to the state park great option if you want to enjoy both with a little privacy. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect quiet getaway!
With kids
Really relaxed atmosphere at the RV site with tall trees surrounding you providing plenty of shade. You are on a property where you can see other houses and another RV so keep that in mind, although it was extremely quiet when we were there. The RV itself was great with all the amenities you would expect including hot showers and Roku TV options. Very close to Bastrop to get restaurant food or the Bucee's for drinks/snacks. Not to mention the Painted Porch bookstore in Bastrop is a must visit for the family. Overall a great place to get away while still having the option of the city or state park nearby. Highly recommend as Luis was a very attentive host as well!

My friend and I had a great time at Meri-D's campsite! It was slightly secluded but not so secluded that it was scary. The lake is literally around the corner (although, the water was a little warm this time of year). The campsite had everything you would want in a campsite! There are a couple of nearby campsites too but they were vacant while we were there. Luis was a great camp host and responded to all of our questions very quickly. The RV was extremely clean! We sat outside by the fire and relaxed looking up at the tall pine trees then we played corn hole. There are some really cool statues on the land as well. We also saw a momma doe and her two babies. So precious! It really was a fantastic time and one to remember!!!
