Cost Camping Friendsgiving!

This camping haven is both well cared for and stunning!! The views are unmatched considering its proximity to DFW. All my scattered friends were able to make out campout game night with ease. I appreciated the easy accessibility to the bathroom, and Sonja was helpful, providing us with an extra tarp when we found ourselves short on supplies. There was also coffee in the annex room for escaping the heat or the elements. Oh! Feeding the goats and horses was a delightful experience, and the fire pits along with the spacious chairs were picturesque and inviting. Huge plus: you can see the stars ✨ I will definitely be returning.

Unbelievable Views & Wonderful Host

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Hopz and Skootz! The views are just unbelievable. Sonja was so lovely and friendly and accommodating. We loved learning a little bit about their family and the property. It’s really beautiful. Our little boy had a blast seeing the goats, chickens, and horses. We caught fish, had great campfires, and even left with a half dozen fresh eggs. Couldn’t recommend the stop enough. We will be back without fail.

Tranquility close to home.

We had an Awesome time kicking back and catching a ton of Fish. Couldn't have ask for a better host. Location was very accessible . We caught around 40 nice size fish. I had 0 problems and my Boys want to come back. Very nice set up I give it 5 Stars!!!!

Sonja was an excellent host. The site was very beautiful. We got to play with the goats, horses, chickens, and even caught a couple of fish! Everything was set up for maximum convenience, and we were amazed by every little touch Sonja put the effort in to make our stay as comfortable as possible. For example, we did not notice that the tent we packed was covered in mold until we took it out of its bag, and Sonja was super gracious, letting us borrow one of her spare tents. Wonderful and relaxing camping trip, would definitely rebook this site!
