Located at the end of the road. There is over 20 acres. Some cleared and some still in original woods. Trees, grass and deer everywhere. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

Amy has an amazing property, beautiful, quiet and peaceful right on the banks of the Brazos. We enjoyed our stay greatly and will absolutely be back.

Omg. This place was adorable and so quiet. The hosts have all kinds of sweet welcoming animals and the camp sites are super quiet. I will definitely be back

Gypsy Moon Hideaway Primitive Camp
My friends and I had an amazing weekend at this property! The campsites were versatile and the bathroom and showers were adorable and clean. Amy was so lovely, she showed us around, introduced us to the farm animals and was happy to help with whatever we needed. I have camped at multiple places in this area and this was by far my favorite I will be back for sure.

Gypsy Moon Hideaway Primitive Camp
To say this campsite was perfect is an understatement. There is such a uniqueness about the place. I think my favorite part was being able to shower and hear all the goats and chickens walking around outside. Amy really makes the whole place so special we didn’t have coffee and she brewed up a whole pot for us in her kitchen. So sweet! Don’t forget to grab some farm fresh eggs while you’re out there, they’re delicious!

We absolutely loved choosing Gypsy Moon for our maiden voyage with our 2 pups. The spot was so close to the water which was beautiful and perfect for fishing and kayaking. The animals (chickens, geese, goats) strolling around made the trip awesome and the farm fresh eggs for sale were delicious. Amy was really accommodating and helpful. We didn't want to leave and definitely would recommend!
