Camping by the Guadalupe Mountains
Great location! This was just what I was looking for. I was looking for something near Calsbad Caverns and something that was pretty remote and not around a bunch of other campers. I stayed there on Sept 11th and it was pretty warm during the day but as the sunset, it cooled off nicely and the views were amazing! Although I was pretty far from the highway, there was a bit of road noise. The noise wasn’t enough to disturb me and I couldn’t hear it with my fire going. It also dies off the later it gets. Also, Wes was very responsive when I had questions! I would definitely recommend this location and would go back!

Ocotillo Grande
Excellent spot and host very responsive and helpful. Easy access and beautiful, secluded spot right underneath El Capitan and Guadalupe Peak. Super quick drive to the Guadalupe Mountains National Park.

Guad Amighty
I originally booked “Guad Almighty” but after seeing the wash out on the road there was no way my travel trailer was making it across . Wes allowed me to switch to “ Ocotillo Grande” this campground is awesome and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area. If you are going to try the trek to Guad almighty make sure you have a true 4x4 vehicle with high clearance and know how to use it. My Jeep Rubicon had no issues.

Ocotillo Grande
We enjoyed a wonderful desert night, with a magnificent sunset and sunrise lighting up El Capitan and Guadalupe Peak. To the south, the view is also magnificent. The Google map of gates and tables was very helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Ocotillo Grande
This spot was better than expected. Incredible views and awesome cactus all around. A little tough to see the trails, so I got out and walked them before pulling my camper trailer in. And you can hear the highway.
All in all, I would definitely stay here again. And recommend to friends.
