Nestled into the expansive and beautiful Big Bend Ranch State Park, with access to the Rio Grande and views of Mexico a short walk away, bring your mountain bike and a sense of adventure as you explore an area, seemingly, forgotten by time. The historic Saint Joseph Church, built and an outfitting company within walking distance. Sites are handicap accessible, though there is no paved pathway. The Ft. Leaton Visitor center for the Big Bend Ranch State Park is located 14 miles West and the nearest town, Presidio, with gas, restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities is 16 miles West. There is also a port of entry into the city of Ojinaga, Mexico in Presidio, if you want a real taste of the border and authentic Mexican food!

      Wonderful camp! Highly recommended!
      I really love and highly recommend Charlie's terrific campsite. The whole team is professional and helpful. Charlies proactively provided us with the equipment (such as the map and the campfire equipment) and answered our questions in details. His two dogs, Bud and Sissy, are friendly and cute. Thank you very much, Charlie!
