Dark Sky TIPI *GLAMPING* on 30ACRES
Star gazing, tranquility in west TX
I greatly enjoyed my stay at Cottonwood Creek. The tipi itself is fantastic; There’s electrical outlets, heated blankets, couches, fridge & coffee maker, and even a TV if you want; but the incredible view of the stars at night is what you want to watch!
The bathhouse is across the gravel drive, and was super clean and spacious; the outdoor kitchen had the basics to cook up something simple and warm.
It was a beautiful, 30-45min drive to multiple places- marfa, big bend national park, fort Davis, or the McDonald observatory.
Chris made my stay so delightful, and I would stay here again whenever in the area. It was peaceful and private, while still being close to grocery/restaurants/gas stations.
Thanks so much!

Great Modern Camping
TIPI was a great retreat away from the city. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is trying to be outdoorsy and doesn't want to go through the hassle of actual camping.
Will definitely try to stay there again!

The tipi was awesome and so cozy even in the chilly night! The bathroom was very nice. It was very quiet at night.

Glamping perfection.
Staying in the Tipi was awesome! The shared bathroom was very nice with a spacious shower. The outdoor shared kitchen had everything needed to cook up dinner. Will definitely stay here again. The night sky was clear with so many stars.

Quiet RV Spot on Private 30 ACRES
The RV spot was clean with easy electrical, and plumbing hook ups. The site was fairly level with a clean gravel base. The semi-seclusion with spectacular sunset views was wonderful. I cannot say enough about the friendly atmosphere and helpfulness of the hosts, but the highlight for us is the magnificent maze of well-groomed trails. They snake harmoniously throughout the cabin and RV area and into a secluded 15-acre section that is both people and pet friendly (as long as everyone stays on the trail and out of the West Texas cactus and thorny brush). We highly recommend this for a great stay!
