I enjoyed the peace and solitude of the land. I found a sweet spot with a picnic table surrounded by trees. I highly recommend.

Already planning a re-visit
The property was exactly as described by the owner. We easily managed to find a great place to setup our camp and didn't have any problems at all. We saw a nice size buck show up 1 morning, and plenty of well dispositioned cattle in the pasture. It was plenty dry, with tall grass during our visit so we didn't have any issues with soft ground and didn't need 4 wheel drive to enter/exit. Some areas looked like they could get a little messy if the ground were saturated - I personally would not drive a small sedan all the way into the back of the property - but with no rain in the forecast it would be manageable. There is a cajun restaurant just down the road that was very nice to stop in for a drink and some food too! Gary is a great host as well, very responsive to messages, and provided some good advice as to where to go on the property.

Great place to get away! Many spots to choose from and plenty of area to roam and explore! The host was very responsive and helpful! I’ll be back for sure!

Unplug for the Weekend
The farm was a great place to camp out, access to water, lots of solitude, & multiple spots to setup camp. At night you get beautiful sunsets & you won’t find stars like this in the big city. Gary’s directions were spot on, I will be returning soon (when it is slightly cooler), but this is an excellent spot to unplug!
