Welcome to our working educational farm! Experience the charm of small farm life while enjoying primitive camping amidst a variety of animals. Throughout the year, we raise cattle, chickens, rabbits, quail, honeybees, and earthworms. In the spring, we also raise pigs and turkeys. Two greenhouses on the property are dedicated to growing vegetables and plant starts. Whether you're a homesteader or simply curious about the origins of your food, this is the perfect destination for you. As part of our offerings, we host events such as a monthly farmer and makers market, along with classes covering topics like breadmaking, animal husbandry, food preservation, and gardening. Situated just 20 miles from Texarkana USA, where you can stand in two states at once, our farm holds historical significance as the filming location for the 1970s films "The Town that Dreaded Sundown" and "The Boggy Creek Monster." Fouke, known for its association with these films, is only 40 miles from our farm. Additionally, we are within day-trip distance to Hoch town, OK, Shreveport, LA, and Tyler, TX, providing you with various nearby destinations to explore.

    We had so much fun at Eddie's farm! Not only did we get to be in the path of totality (Eclipse 2024), but we also got to pet cows, dogs, and chickens, and Eddie did a wonderful job of teaching us so much about honeybees! They were wonderful hosts, made our eclipse experience into more of a mini festival! Thanks so much! Definitely would recommend this location to anybody wanting to stay in the area.

    Welcoming, Memorable, and Education
    Eddie and his family were extremely welcoming. Their effort to create an exciting and memorable experience for their guests was evident in every aspect of our stay. The small details were thoughtful and we walked away with not only great memories but a ton of knowledge about running a farm and beekeeping that Eddie graciously shared with us.
