Our values: We Value REPLENISHMENT. We want you to be in NATURE and feel replenished. We Value All Species Living Together in Nature Restoratively. We strive: to CULTIVATE ... thriving biodiverse habitats, because we lived here to LEARN ... from the regenerative nature of flora and fauna to SHARE ... the responsibility to care for one another to GROW ... our deep appreciation for the beauty of this EarthThe Farm Restoration Our purchase of the farm in 2015 began the process of restoring the farm to its former glory. In partnership with the Natural Resource Conservation Agency we embarked on a journey to bring biodiversity and balance back to the farm. We are working on meadow restoration, reducing invasive species, creating habitat to repopulate bob white quail and wild turkey. Guests can enjoy the peace and quiet, wander the trails, visit the Nigerian dwarf dairy goat herd, watch our beautiful Texas Longhorns as they browse or see the black buck and Barbado sheep relaxing in the meadow. Wild life viewing stands are available for those who would like to sit and observe our flora and fauna. Because we are a working ranch and need to meet each of our guests to check in we have a strict checkin policy. All Guests must arrive between 2-6pm unless otherwise agreed. Once checkin is compete you are free to come and go as you please. Come walk the Labyrinth located near the main farm house.  WE VALUE All species living together in nature restoratively WE STRIVE to CULTIVATE thriving biodiverse habitats, BECAUSE we live here. to LEARN from the regenerative nature of flora and fauna. to SHARE the responsibility to care for one another. to GROW our deep appreciation for the beauty of this Earth. We are located at the far end of a sandy stretch of road, completely private. The 67 acres are completely enclosed  and gated, so you can't get lost for too long, as you wander the well maintained trails that meander through the forests and meadows on the farm.  We ask that campers park their cars just inside the gate and camp within "range" of a new cedar outhouse with composting toilet, located in the southwest corner of the property (close to the front gate). The entire acreage is open to exploring and there is a small pond (great for dog swimming only). Along with outdoor composting toilet. There is potable water available in campground. Please pack in/pack out your belongings and all trash. We welcome your ideas and shared vision. It's very Natural out here . . .

Camping in sanctuary
The hosts was extremely welcoming and nice. The land has beautiful trails, animals and even spots for you to sit and take in the surroundings throughout. You will hear roosters, happy goats and might be visited by armadillos late at night. It was a lovely primitive camping style.

My fiancé and I, with our dog in tow, truly enjoyed our quick 1 night getaway at Ardor Wood Farm. Karen and Graham were lovely hosts. We enjoyed meeting them upon our arrival and learning more about the work they have put into their property over the years. The campsite was well taken care of, private, and we felt very safe during our stay. Parking is not too far and the path was easy to navigate when loading our stuff in and out. Graham has cleared out multiple trails throughout the property for you to explore as well. We couldn’t recommend staying with Graham and Karen enough, and will surely be back to enjoy a night under the stars soon!

Ardor Wood Farm Camping
Thank you so much for sharing your farm for my camping with friends! Other than surviving the torrential rain we had that night it was a trip I will always remember and want to return to! Compost toilet was well kept and clean! I embraced nature and showered with harmless daddy long leg spiders In the out door shower! I am an avid camper and this is the most I’ve ever felt nestled in the woods. We even went barefoot, with the sandy earth between our toes felt like we were at a beach even. Your longhorn cattle are simply breathtaking! And to be as close to your turkey to hear and feel the bass of his gobbling is an “omg” moment! I’m definitely going back so I can venture on to your trails.

Amazing host!
Graham is truly doing what he loves and you can tell. I unfortunately had my car battery die on me and Graham wasted no time helping me get it jump started so I could drive home. Im sad I didn’t get to stay to experience the beauty of their property but I will definitely be back. If you’re looking for an all around awesome place to stay I can recommend Ardor Wood Farms highly! Truly amazing people with beautiful sites.

Graham met us as we arrived and showed us around. I loved the hospitality! The property is private and has some good walking trails. The tent itself was very clean. There is a fire pit available and a lot of wood on the ground that can be used for burning. Nights were very peaceful, and it was fun listening to the farm animals. I would definitely recommend this property!
