Located in the foothills of Eastern Tennessee, Watauga Springs is a 3-acre partially wooded property. The dedicated campsite is in a clearing surrounded by trees and not visible from the rest of the property. Camp grill and fire ring provided along with picnic table. Close to downtown Elizabethton, Watauga Lake, Bristol, and Johnson City. Many historical sites of interest are close by. Bike or hike the Tweetsie Trail, fish, kayak, explore the AT, find a waterfall, or discover local live music in the evening. There is something for everyone. Spring water available (please be sure to purify/filter). No toilet facility provided. Plenty of firewood available.

    Secret Circle
    This was a fantastic private camp and was quite well maintained. There were 2-3 great tent spots which is good for small groups or two couples to have their own little area. The charcoal grill is a nice touch and I couldn’t believe wood was provided for a great campfire. The only drawback is that the site is a bit close to a road so there was a bit of noise, but that would likely go mostly unnoticed once the trees grow in (I was there just days in to Spring). Had a great time and the hosts were fantastic!
