Absolutely wonderful tranquill and peaceful lakeside lot on Dale Hollow Lake. Located in a gated community, The Pointe, is a great spot for any one person, a family or couples retreat. This is one of the few roads there that don't have much of any development done near the home.
Within 15 minutes to the closest marinas, Dale Hollow Campground area, convenience stores, and 25 minutes to the town center with grocery stores and restaurants. Mitchell Creek Marina also has a restaurant.
The shore is 50 feet away, the 50 feet cannot be developed as a rule because the dam is being run by the US Army Corps, only buildings that were grandfathered in before the dams creation, and marinas, are allowed to build on the 50 feet closest to shore.
Less than a one minute walk to 2 different pavilions and also a Gaezabo. The lakefront pavilion lets you go right up to the water where one can wade, swim or pull up a JetSki, or a boat.
A 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk away will bring you to the Clubhouse. This has a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of space for dining and there is also a TV area. The downstairs has a nice little gym and separate game room with pool table, foosball table, pingpong table, air hockey table and board games. There is also bathrooms but no showers. Coming soon is a pool area with a lookout tower.
There is a Sunset Pavilion with absolutely STUNNING views, especially in the mornings sometimes with the smokies clouds rolling over the lake. Lounge on the rocking chairs and enjoy. It is on one of the first roads on the left going into the community with the sign you'll see a sign for it. It has a kichenette (not stocked) with a firepit and there is also a covered portion of it with a charcoal bbq counter, fireplace and picnic table. It is about a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk from the property, in the same community.
There is spotty but usable cell service in the community with Verizon, I'm not sure of the other providers.
The property itself where you'll be staying has no water tap or porta potty. Please be respectful of the environment and as the property itself is undeveloped with grass and trees.
There is a fireplace as well for any fires by the property. At the nearby Standing Stone State Park, there is wood, a dumping station, and free filtered drinking water available to fill in cups. I never had a better glass of water until I met that fountain.
I fell in love with this property when I got it two years ago and one day soon hope to add a tiny home. The views are awe inspiring, and the fishing and fun on a 28,000 acre lake is hard to beat.
