Find peace at this private campsite close to Watts Bar Lake. Nestled in the tall trees, your large, private site features a fire pit, picnic table, and a “Tennessee Bathroom.” Site is nearly 100% shaded all day long. The area is surprisingly quiet. Deer, turkey, turtles, frogs, and cardinals have all been seen on the property. Before you exit your tent in the morning, stay quiet and look out first - who knows what you might see. Parking is right next to the site. Watts Bar Lake is within a few hundred yards and a public boat ramp is just about 3 minutes down the road. Watts Bar is over 72 miles long, 722 miles of shoreline, and is known for good fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, and other recreation. This is a good base for day trips to Knoxville, Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain National Park. Note: Bring your own tent/supplies, or options include tent and/or propane tank rental. Pack out your own food, animal, and human waste. As this is private property, it is still the woods of Tennessee, so expect all that goes along with that. This property is in development, so added lodging and amenities will come on line in the future. We welcome your feedback. Nice stay

Craig was communicative and provided me and my partner with a wonderful camping space. He left us a lamp the first night to navigate through the dark because he knew we were coming in late. Space was clean and flat, easy to camp on, cell service was bad but luckily he provided free wifi.

Beautiful property. Just far enough out to feel you are getting away, but still convenient to town. Lots of outdoor recreation opportunities nearby. Craig was a wonderful host!

Clean, peaceful, and gorgeous property. I love that he has the camo type privacy fence up, because even though you’re close to houses you still have privacy. Very nicely, well and up kept property. Craig was lovely, very attentive, but also gave us our peace and quiet space and time. Fire pit that has the metal grate built in was a lovely touch! Would recommend to anyone in the area, or passing through.

Craig’s campsite was great!! When i arrived he had left me a little note welcoming me and a Shiloh sticker. The purpose of my trip was to take my son to a wedding of his friends in Gatlinburg. He was staying with them so I had to find a place for two nights for myself. I love to camp so I started looking for a nice relaxing spot and I found it! I wasn’t for sure if my husband was going to be able to go with me and as it turned out he wasn’t so I was a little on edge having to make that trip and camp without him, which I have done before but still get a little nervous but when I got to meet Craig that evening after my arrival, he put me totally at ease. He was very friendly and helpful. I would stop there and stay again!!!
