Low Meadow Farms (formerly Brown Bike Farms) is a serene four-acre meadow bordered by Burnett Creek. The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in. It is a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek. There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area. Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all along the creek and gravel drive Site 10 is very private with creek access on three sides. Site 11 is private with creek access all along the front. Site 12 is up high on a hill, and Site 13 is open in the middle of the meadow.

Spotted an Eastern Screech Owl!
This was my first time booking through HipC⛺️mp and it was an awesome experience! What really drew us in was the location and price, and we lucked out! The directions were very clear. The sites were clean. There was wood and water. The creek was pretty and there wasn’t a lot of bugs! We even spotted an Owl 🦉 It’s really nice it’s just tent sites because it’s extra quiet at night for the soundscape. Aaron gave us stickers and a great brunch recommendation (Gourmets Market and Cafe- really good cold brew for my girlies). We were just passing through for the night checking out Knoxville and our next time through we plan on camping here again.

A family friendly camping spot!
We enjoyed a camping trip here a few months ago so we decided to bring another family to join this time! We had a blast. The kids loved the creek, the trees provided great shelter, and the fire pit was very handy!

Hidden Gem
What a wonderful camp site! Site 10 is nestled sweetly into a creek. Although it rained, there was no flooding at the site. It is very shady and large enough for at least 2 vans. The urban wilderness trails are close enough to ride bikes to. The creek is spring fed and made for quite a refreshing post ride dip. No showers but the Porta potty was very clean and clearly stays tended to. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Kat. Hope to see you again one day 😊

Quiet Space
This was a really great spot to car camp on my road trip as I was passing through Knoxville. Porta potty was clean and fire ring and tables are new. The creek is beautiful. Very quiet spot.
