Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are in the heart of historic TN. 20 minutes from Jonesborough TN, Davey Crockett Home site, Gray Fossil museum, Brights Zoo and so much more. Cattle and horse pastures surround us. There is an old late 1800s early 1900s house that was a local school teachers. Locals call it the Laurel house. On the property. It has been left to nature for sometime now. We have a horse, quail, a chicken, Anatolian Shepard, Belgium Malinois and a hound dog. That will guard predators at night. Our neighbors have Guardian dogs too. So pets/ horses are welcome as long as they can act respectfully. There is a train you can hear and a Church bell Sundays and Wednesdays. Donkeys goats and cows are your other sounds.Pasture camping with old abandon house in it. Choice of spot on about an acre. No stock will be in pasture. However abutting neighbors gave cattle and horses. Fencing is 4 strand barbed wire. Fire wood available, water available other amenities at this time.
