This property was purchased by my husband and I in 1980 from Margret Cetera mother of Peter Cetera lead singer of the band Chicago. When purchased the home was a small non descript cottage with a pole barn in the back field. It has grown to support grape, blackberry and muscedime vines.The original home has expanded through time and around 20 years ago, the pole barn was converted into a large 1200 square foot cabin with modern conveniences. My husband and I actually enjoyed living full time in the cabin for a period of 5 years before returning to reside in the main house. The cabin consists of 1 large common space room with sitting area and kitchen. The antique farm sink has hot and cold running water. Also available is a large refrigerator, toaster, microwave oven, hot plate, coffee pot and portable dishwasher. The antique Hoosier cabinet holds cooking utensils and silverware and located above the kitchen counter you will find plates, bowls, cups and glasses for your use. The water is well water, pure and delicious without chemicals. The cabin is equipped with a full size pool table for our guests enjoyment. The master bedroom offers a comfortable sleigh bed, full bathroom with shower and just outside the bedroom is a comfortable patio to enjoy, complete with table and chairs for two and outdoor fire place. Also available is a twin bed tucked in the corner of the area between the main room and bedroom. For guests wishing to continue their exercise routine, a modern treadmill is available as well. Walk the spacious well landscaped yard with multiple seating venues including a large hammock. For a quiet night of movie enjoyment, bring your favorite movies and make use of the DVD/VCR machine and wide screen television. Approximately 12-14 television channels are available via outside antenna. This cozy cabin offers something for everyone; book your stay today.We have a converted pole barn cabin on 3 acres of land. Approximately 1200 square foot, rustic in design with painted concrete floors and saw mill hewn popular boards covering the walls. Fully furnished 1 bedroom with kitchen bathroom and shower. We reside in the main house and available at all times. The area is Middle Tennessee surrounded by lakes, state parks, mountains for hiking and many other amenities. Within driving range of Nashville, Chattanooga, approximately 1-1/2 hours either way. Cabin sleeps 3 comfortably with 1 full size bed and 1 twin bed. Also outdoor area for tent. An open patio is just outside the door from the bedroom with table for two, charcoal grill and chiminea. Covered patio with tables and chairs are also available a short trek down the sidewalk. Available for your enjoyment; pool table, vintage pinball machine, large TV with antenna hook up with approximately 14 available channels and DVD/VCR, treadmill, piano, board/card games and cornhole boards. Multiple seating areas scattered throughout the beautifully landscaped property. Franklin County, Tennessee hosts many events including fishing tournaments. We have ample parking for boats and trailers and we are located within 1-2 miles from 3 main boat launching sites. Just minutes from Tims Ford Lake, the University of the South in Sewanee, George Dickell Distillery, Jack Daniel Distillery and beautiful Lynchburg, Tennessee. Travel back in time at 100 Oaks Castle in Winchester or enjoy a day of hunting or fishing. Winchester Springs huddles in the valley of Franklin County and is surrounded by lakes, rivers and mountain terrain. A multitude of shopping is available if this is your hobby. Relax in the comfort of the Holliday Hide Away cabin then head out for a day of shopping in the large variety of unique shops found throughout the area; from Estill Springs to Cowan, Winchester, Decherd and Sewanee. Spend a day hiking the trails of the Cumberland Ridge Mountain and enjoy the clean, fresh air of these beautiful sites, then return to Holliday Hide Away and relax with a warm fire and your beverage of choice. Or relax in the hammock beneath the towering pine trees and feel the soft breeze as you sway in the fresh outdoors. We had a cozy time at the Holloday Hide Away. Fun place to stay at with lots of games. Nice area close to the Jack Daniel’s destillery for all whiskey fans.

Cool, quirky, barn renovation with accommodating hosts. We liked the decor, pool table, fire chimney, and proximity to cute towns. Hosts were helpful with activity suggestions and helped us plan the route to our next destination. A much more interesting experience than your typical motel.

Holliday Hideaway is a fantastic little retreat! Lots to do within the walls of this homey retreat! Play a game of pool or try your hand on the vintage pinball machine! If you had rather stay in on a cold day, the buckstove will keep you nice and cozy while you read a book or watch some tv.

The Holliday Hide Away is a very cozy home, complete with a pinball machine and pool table. The wood stove kept us quite warm, and the Christmas decorations were a friendly touch.
