The Dragonfly Cottage (main house) was originally a mantel makers workshop, built in 1930. The firefly tiny house (for rent) was added to the property by the previous owners, who owned Dragonfly Pottery on the property as well.
Surrounded by gardens in the historic district, it is bookended by Main Street on the front and a cemetery in back. Views of garden and orchard from front, treed lot behind.
Easy walking distance to Storytelling Center, Corner Cup coffee, and downtown shops.
Fire pit available behind house for use and dry flush toilet inside. Sleeping loft is up a ladder, so not suitable for limited mobility.
Ventless gas log fireplace, AC/electric heat, microwave, mini fridge, electric tea kettle, double bed, window seat, and work desk make this a comfortable rustic retreat. Ideal for artists and writers to escape and create in peace.
Propane camp shower and outdoor tub available. Bathhouse under construction for future use
I look forward to hosting you in the oldest town in Tennessee!
