Great TN Getaway
The husband and I found this Hipcamp on a whim and have a great time! Our Jeep Wrangler had no issues getting to camp. We stayed on the property the entire weekend to explore the woods. There’s a few ATV trails that make great hiking trails and cool things to spot around in the woods. We’ve had an incredibly dry summer in TN so most everything is dried up, but we were still able to spot a running spring. Wildlife was amazing to listen to at night and the window of stars we had was absolutely incredible.

Easy and Private Camping
We took our 6 month old camping for her first time, and Sarah's land was perfect. As advertised, it's 136 acres and feels perfectly isolated. The sites are nicely spaced and private. Don't let the entrance fool you - there are neighbors and a small event venue at the driveway, but the property is so big, they're distant very quickly It is possible to either hike in camp or car camp here. To get to the sites, you will either need to plan to walk or have a 4x4 vehicle - there are gravel and dirt paths. Very passable and wide enough in the right vehicle, and the sites are big enough to accommodate at least one car. We camped alone, but this would be a fun place to share a site with friends or rent multiple sites. We stayed here on our way from Nashville to Chattanooga. It was an easy drive to Chattanooga in the morning - about 35 minutes. Sarah and her husband Tab are very kind and responsive hosts. We would definitely camp here again.

CrowMocker Camp Sites
This was one of the coolest camps ever! It's very hidden near the top of a mountain in the woods. Lots of creeks, big trees, cool rock formations and trails. The trail to the campground makes for a good hike or drive with a small truck or 4WD SUV. There is an off grid camp store hidden in the woods with necessities (open upon request). Bring your own drinking water ... the sink at the outhouse gets it water directly from a mountain spring and is not filtered; the owners do not recommend drinking it. Hope to return to Raulston Woods July Fourth ... they are planning to have a music festival and fireworks show!! This time I'm going to try one of their cabins. (There is a concert stage up there ... something from an Old West movie scene).
