The Woodlander and Back Paddock Campsites are Private Campsites located @ thelittlegardenfarm. Private campsites (approx 400m away from each other) all to yourselves within a short drive to many Bruny Island attractions. The Little Garden Farm is our new 100-acre forest and pasture farm that we will begin improving over the next 18 months. The property is located at the base of Bruny's Isthmus, enjoying cool sea breezes in summer and mild temperatures in winter. The Woodlander Campsite is set in our bottom forest paddock, next to a dam, with a seasonal winter creek. It is private and peaceful, with no other campers, houses, or nearby neighbours. We welcome travellers, with up to two vehicles, who are here to enjoy the peace and quiet (no parties please). The campsite has its own separate access, site toilet, solid picnic table and chairs, firepit and and is approximately 600 meters from where we live. Next to 70 acres of forest the location is great for birdlife, with many of Tassie's endemics around, and other wildlife abundant after dark. We are always happy to help with birding or wildlife tips! Based approx 5 minutes from Alonnah and 10 minutes from Adventure Bay, the "Woodlander" is central to so much of what Bruny Island has to offer.

A magical place to camp
Loved camping at this beautiful little spot! It’s very well taken care of and was absolutely perfect for our overnight camp. It feels remote but was actually close to lots of things. This special place added to our great experience of Bruny Island.

Private with plenty of options of location to camp. Amenities are first rate. Rachel was always available and very accommodating. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The Back Paddock - Private SIte
Flat site close to shops
Great communication from Rachael and accommodating, close to pub beach adventure Bay and shops, great meals at the pub but expensive, the site is flat and grassy and can have a fire, more a semi private side, traffic from the main road and simpson bay road leading to the site can be noisey from all the vehicles going past, apart from that we had a good 2 days there, the site is suitable for all types of camping,next time we will book the site with toilet and hut further along the road it looks alot more private and sheltered, thanks for having us Rachael 😀

The Woodlander - Private Camp Site
This property is a private, hidden oasis. It has amazing facilities, such as Hobbit Hut with couch, table and camp chairs for the wet weather, and a private and clean compost loo for your convenience. The site is behind a locked gate and surrounded by gum trees, and apart from yourself, only inhabited by the wildlife. You are located far enough from the road for it to not be a distraction, and close enough to everywhere on the island. We absolutely loved it here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to everyone !

The Woodlander - Private Camp Site
A great spot surrounded by woodland. It felt really special to have this to ourselves!! The hobbit hut is also a great touch, and compost toilet is clean and comfortable.
