Take the opportunity to enjoy this very special place on the lake to pitch a tent or park your van. You can lay back and star gaze the myriad of stars, and even take a jump off the pontoon into the beautiful cool waters, or bring your kayaks and paddle the shores. A great base to visit the Florentine valley, Mt Field and many other nearby attractions. The tranquillity and privacy will leave you a wonderful feeling of peace. This is a wonderful place to unwind, take a swim with your dog and just hang out with the very special access to the lagoon. There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace. One vehicle per site, only one family group per site! If you have a family or group with more vehicles please book accordingly. I will not accept bookings that do not follow these guidelines. If you want the place to yourself feel free to book out all the sites if they are available! The campsite features a spacious grassy area along the Cluny Lagoon, ideal for swimming and fishing. Guests will have exclusive access to the waterfront, although other groups may also be present. A communal firepit is available; please refrain from camping too close to it or the pontoon. Note that there are no electrical hookups at this site, but potable water can be sourced from the lake, it is incredibly clean water. Take advantage of this unique lakeside location to set up a tent or park your van. Enjoy roasting marshmallows at the firepit, stargazing, or diving from the pontoon into the refreshing waters. You can also bring your kayaks and explore the scenic shores. This campsite serves as a great base for visiting attractions in the Florentine Valley, Mt. Field, and other nearby sites. The peaceful and private atmosphere will leave you feeling relaxed. It’s a fantastic spot to unwind, enjoy a swim with your dog, and fully appreciate the special access to the lagoon. The yurt has been a part of the landscape for about 14 years, and is used privately at this time. The pizza ovens can be used when no one is at the yurt. Please note that there are no amenities available, so campers must be self-sufficient and practice Leave No Trace principles. N.B. Firewood is not provided.

Serenity!
Beautiful spot overlooking the river, with plenty of space and privacy. The river was a delight to swim in, and sitting by the fire listening to the Cockies roosting in the evening and then waking up in the morning was very special.

Gorgeous place!
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cluny Dun Lagoon. We were very lucky to have the whole place to ourselves. We got to enjoy a nice fire while looking over the river views, saw lots of seabirds and some wildlife, especially some cows that weren't supposed to be there but snuck in to get some water - that was a lovely gift that we weren't expecting ☺️
