Awarded South Dakota's best Hip Camp to see in 2024, 2023, 2021, and runner up in 2022. Uncle B's farm is a small 11 acre hobby farm with a large vegetable garden, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, a goat, dogs, and cats. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites listed as Uncle B's farm for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table. The "shower shack" is shared by all guests and has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing. There is also a basic outdoor kitchen with a few portable grills as well as a sink with modern plumbing. Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups. My "Ready Set Camp" listing is a dome tent set up and furnished with 2 cots, table, and lamp as well as a match ready fire. The Barn loft apartment is a studio apartment with a small galley kitchen and private bath. Uncle B's farm has been voted Best Hip Camp to see in South Dakota for the 3rd time.... Come see why...

Uncle B's Farm
One of the best!
There is a reason that Uncle B's has been rated one of the best Hip Camps in South Dakota for years. If this is on your list of stops you will not be disappointed. You will be greeted with treats. Everything is kept up well. Nice hot showers. If you are lucky, you might come home with a kitten. Just ask :)

Uncle B's Farm
Wonderful respite
Brian greeted me warmly when I pulled in despite my last minute reservation. He assisted me with my site selection and brought me a delightful s’mores welcome gift. The facilities were everything I needed and more. It’s apparent why they’ve been voted South Dakota’s best. I’ll return if ever in the area again.

Field of Dreams
Nice tent sites sheltered by trees! Good bath house & outside kitchen space, tho kitchen was a bit disheveled! I was offered a night in the “Magic Bus” tho it is still under construction. This apartment, a 1958 school bus, looks like it rolled out of Haight Ashbury during the “summer of love”. Great lighting, comfy mattress, table & a couple chairs, sofa. Good music system, but EXTRAORDINARY 3+ hr playlist expertly curated by Brian! Brian was super friendly & helpful. The bus will be a catch when completed. Tent sites and field RV sites already are!

Uncle B’s gots what you need!
Uncle B’s place is an absolute must-stay if you’re ever in the area. The hospitality, the passion and genuine interest, the beautiful property — clean, fun, and always friendly! Also versatile for any camping style and group size. Would stay a million times over and am confident I’d love it every time. Highly recommended stay.

Uncle B's RV Camper Site's
we stayed at Brian's farm overnight while traveling to, and from the Black Hills area of SD. Brian met us upon arrival and directed us to a nice RV site with electric and water hook-ups, and close to the bath house, which was clean, and nice having a hot shower and flush toilet available. my only suggestion would be to have paper towels at the sink so there is a way to dry your hands when you wash them. we enjoyed meeting the farm animals and one of his dogs, and waking to the rooster crowing. the sunsets were beautiful! Brian was friendly and welcoming and offered firewood for a campfire and Smore fixings. he also offered fresh produce from his garden: tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, and free range eggs from his chickens. Brian goes above and beyond to make his guests feel like that-guests, and that they are welcomed and comfortable. thank you for sharing your property!
