Camp Custer
Gravel, level quiet spot not too far from main roads. More of a night off the road or easy in/out basecamp than longer term spot. think the directions were accurate but I still think I messed up and parked at the owner’s personal RV parking space. I arrived in the dark and it looked like the picture. Woke up to see another spot farther up the drive and farther from the owner’s place. To the host’s credit, he didn’t make a fuss and let me be for the night. Stay left as soon as you pull in to avoid this issue. It might be helpful to add a small Hipcamp sign and arrow for future campers.

Camp Custer
It was a nice overnight spot amongst the Ponderosa pines. Even how to peek at the sunset.

Peaceful
This is a great spot to stay! The view was stunning and it’s very peaceful. Getting into town was easy. The hosts are very accommodating and answered any questions we had. Very pet friendly with lots of places to walk around. Would stay here again!
