The Briar Patch is located on a fourth generation cattle farm in Westminster, SC an area National Geographic once included in their "50 of the world's last great places" The Briar Patch seeks to get people seeks to connect people of all ages to the outdoors in a special way through both adventure and education.Setup camp and start exploring our own trails or adventure off site with endless exploration right here in Oconee County. Stumphouse Tunnel offers even more mountain biking and hiking trails. With easy access to Issaqueena Falls and the old unfinished Tunnel Clemson University used to make their famous blue cheese. Just minutes from the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River which offers whitewater rafting and kayaking through several outfitters! We recommend Southeastern Expeditions and Wildwater - ask for our favorite guides! ChauRam park is right around the corner from our farm and features an impressive suspension bridge over the Chauga River. With some some excellent swimming spots on their hiking trail along the river. With southern lake gems like Jocassee, Keowee, and Hartwell all in county hop over to any of the three with ease from your campsite! Very peaceful Field was very maintained clean. hiking trails dirt bike track awesome place to watch the sun set and rise

Exceptional place to Camp!
Great location Wonderful host fill me in on a lot of the areas things to do & see. Amazing Sunrise, Sunset & stars Will definitely stop back anytime I'm close
