The farm was once a portion of the McTureus Plantation. Tony's family members were once enslaved on the plantation. Upon Emancipation a family member bought land and it remained in the family. Tony is a descendant of those family members whose foresight allowed us to be here today. Tony's parents entrusted the care and preservation of the property to us and we are doing our best to be good stewards and teach the value of this property to our children and young grandchildren.

Magnolia Trail (Campsite #1)

We spent 4 nights at the friendly fowl farm. The campsite was clean and private. The owners were very nice and accommodating when we needed something but otherwise let us enjoy peace and quiet. The price was amazing with how close it was to the ocean and other things to do. If we make it down again we will definitely be back and would 💯 refer all our friends there.

This is a secluded spot. Its level and well shaded. Belinda and Tony are very welcoming. This is a working farm.

Live Oak (Campsite 2)

Very wonderful and sweet people. They were extremely helpful and we really Appreciated them coming to give us some light and dealing with the toilet when it was so late at night! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone who asked. Thank you again !

I had a very enjoyable stay here. Everything was exactly as described and while I didn't spend much time there or look around, it was entirely positive.
