Hilltop Campsite
Affordable
Me and my wife booked here to check out local towns. It was awesome finding a place so affordable. The hill top sight is up a hill so be prepared for that. The goat's were a great/funny addition. I don't recommend petting as the fence is electric. Would stay again during our next pass through.

Not Camped
We have some circumstances that prevented us actually using the camp siite-so I can't really comment here. However interactions were pleasant and I was refunded by the host without actually requesting such.

Great private campsite! I needed a place to book last minute. Instant book and location made my trip a breeze! The hardwood forest was wonderful, and the goats were awesome! Conveniently located, while still private and remote enough to disconnect.
Looking forward to another visit soon!

Hilltop Campsite
A great stopover
Loved the campsite, but I just needed a nice, quiet place to park for the night. It was perfect! Surrounded by beautiful trees. Convenience store right up the road for coffee in the morning. Peaceful night for a great sleep.

Persimmon Campsite
Unique, private, comfortable
What a special, peaceful little getaway! My husband and I needed a place to stay on our way for a last minute trip and this was a perfect solution. Instant Book feature saved the day!
Edward was so hospitable, communicative, and educational. We got in late and had no trouble finding where to go. Gentle sounds of crickets and a distant whip-poor-will made the night so peaceful! The clearing was tidy and there were multiple flat spots for our big tent. Great view of the stars! A massive stack of firewood and a sturdy picnic table made for a very comfortable stay, and there weren't many mosquitoes on the site, either. We purchased delicious fresh blackberries from their blackberry farm, saw some adorable goats, and listened to many different wild birds in complete peace. The goats nearby had some things to say once the sun was out, and a distant rooster made it an efficient and natural wake-up. This is as advertised and honestly wasn't a bother, as the goats were very quiet through the night.
If we hadnt just been passing through, we would have been happy to try their many experience add-ons, as Edward and the family offer great educational experience to learn about blackberries, goats, trees, etc.
Absolutely recommend!
