Riverside camping
This might have to be a recurring spot for me and my family.
We’re used to staying at state parks and other campgrounds, which is great. But having a nice open space by the riverside AND a personal bathroom with hot water and shower… it’s such a perfect setup. Especially with a 2.5 year old running around.
One of our first nights were heard some foxes calling to one another which was also very exciting to listen to.
Craig was really nice and him supplying firewood and eggs (fairly priced) was ultra convenient.
One minor point I have to make is there is road noise from nearby… but that is minor in comparison to the rest.

Riverside camping
Definitely recommend!
The site is clean and peaceful. It's a perfect blend of "getting away" but still close to stores, restaurants, etc when/if needed. We didn't see any fish in the river at all, but that didn't bother us, the river was so clear and beautiful. Craig was super communicative and a great host all around.

My family and I had a pleasure staying at Broken Oaks, it was a fun experience! The campsite offers a perfect blend of nature and comfort. The site itself was well maintained while providing both privacy and accessibility. Additionally, the area has a lot of historical trails which added another interest to our stay. Highly recommended!

Riverside camping
Bro this place is unreal
The pics don’t do it justice. I spent twice as long setting up because I kept stopping to say “wow” and admire my surroundings. It is INCREDIBLE. It is private, clean, quiet, unbelievably beautiful and serene, and the river is clear and just perfectly there.
The bathroom is pristine. I nearly shed a tear after showering (in hot water!) after a week of… not showering. This is just an absurdly great bang for your buck, and I cannot recommend it enough.
Craig was communicative, kind, friendly, and his property is nothing short of impressive. You will not be disappointed, on the contrary, this far superseded my expectations. Thank you Craig for this wildly awesome experience.

Riverside camping
My boyfriend and I had a great time camping here. It was really private and felt very safe. The views were really beautiful and I loved being right next to the river. The bathroom was brand new and was extremely welcome after a long day of hiking in DuPont. Craig was incredibly welcoming and a great host!
