The block is 64 acres, all to yourself. It is coastal and looks across the channel to Kangaroo Island. There are two valleys suitable to set up camp, both with access to the ocean.
There are no facilities here, you must be completely self sufficient. We have taken care to clean the beaches and land of rubbish, please ‘leave only footprints.’ The nearest toilets are a couple of km away just before Talisker mine.
The land is locked and we must arrange for a key hand over, easiest from Adelaide.
Dogs are welcome, although there are some large kangaroos on site which deserve caution.
This site is dangerous for small children. There are snakes, spiders, high cliffs, unstable edges…. However it is also spectacular, rugged, remote and isolated.Only one reservation will be accepted at a time, so the entire site will be yours alone. Please note there may be Heysen trail walkers passing by.
The road in is gravel, offroad tyres are strongly recommended to minimise the risk of a flatty.
