Our home could be described as the hidden gem in the crown as it is situated in a glorious part of Australia the beautiful hinterland of the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Located near Maleny, a friendly country village, the area possesses some of the most stunning natural beauty Australia has to offer. Perched high on the Blackall Range the region affords breathtaking views of the magnificent Glasshouse Mountains and miles of pristine coastline. Our local area is diverse offering a vast number of natural attractions along with superb cuisine, artisans, galleries and the beach just 30 minutes away. We have designed our home within a natural eco-system in a totally private and idyllic setting. You will wake to the sounds of unique fauna including whip birds, one of the most characteristic sounds of the Australian bush. Overlooking the Obi Obi creek with waterfalls and swimming holes our home is architecturally designed and comprises five pavilions situated on 2 acres of rolling green hills, parklands and lush bush.
The property has a number of charming surprises including a creek side sauna which we are happy to share with you with us present, a separate yoga Shala and even platypus in our swimming hole - this is a place for people seeking something different. You will not only have an opportunity to immerse yourself in something akin to the most enchanting resort that will offer absolute tranquillity and a little magic!You will have 2 to 3 buildings of a 5 pod homestead with your own self contained fully private facilities ie bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, playroom and bathroom areas, outdoor BBQ decks and eating spaces.). We would also love you to share our Yoga /Meditation/ massage in the Shala Temple.
Your pods overlook a glorious property bounded by the Obi Obi Creek, ringed by rainforest and birdsong. .... you have king size beds, a large lounge room with couch, massage chair, fireplace, TV/DVD and room to sleep kids. It is adjoined by a kitchen, toilet and play room area with pool table. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and while there is only rarely a need, we've installed aircon in the guest lounge/kitchen area.
Bathroom double shower pod is a hop, step and jump through the garden.
Wander less than 100m through the trees to a deep, 50m long clear water swimming hole (and sauna which we are happy to share with you with us present), and clean basalt rock drops waterfall and rapids. Maybe you'll be brave enough to jump into the creek from the 10m high "Initiation Rock" or cross over the creek to explore the island rainforest.
Drop in to visit our great friends Marcus and Sarah at the Maleny Cheese Factory (say hello from us!) - just up the road with fabulous award winning cheeses and yoghurts.
We have a yoga shala accessible each day and yoga classes available by arrangement ..... and often support groups to share their expertise. You're very welcome to join in.

All in all, leave behind your cares and play with Pasha the cat ... gaze at the fish sliding through the three ponds... chuckle with the girls up in the chook house. Enjoy the creel timbers and rain forest designated walks aroound the property!
