Our property is 38 acres in size and is primarily used as an equestrian facility where coaching, clinics and training in dressage are conducted as well as providing agistment. The camping area is 100 metres or so from the nearest road and next to a dam and provides some of the most gorgeous sunsets around. Currently you will need to be self sufficient as we don’t have any toilet or shower facilities and we are still working on our shade with the trees having only just been planted. We are are only 2km from the Bruce hi-way and a comfortable 10 minute drive to the beautiful Bowen beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants making this a great spot to base yourself for your next Bowen getaway or if you are just passing through.Our property is 38 acres in size and is primarily used as an equestrian facility where coaching, clinics and training in dressage are conducted as well as providing agistment. Easy to find. We arrived after dark - Matt had given good directions and we drove straight in to our camp spot. Pleasant location - nice and peaceful.

Beautiful sunsets around the dam where a real highlight. The site is a simple cleared area at the front of the property close to the road. It is in an open area so no shelter from the sun or wind but it has easy flat access for all vehicle types and fire pits provided.

Great place very basic far enough away from highway only stayed one night. Close to bowen if you want to explore. Plenty of flat areas to setup.

Caravanning with dogs

Loved being at Matt’s farm 👍 wide open spaces awesome views and sunsets amazing 🤩 parked up next to the dam heaps of space 😊 great place to stop with dogs, could have them off leash and Matt’s dog “Bug” came to visit us, she’s very friendly. Easy 5 min drive into Bowen and beautiful beaches, and nice to come back to the peace and quiet. Matt stopped by to chat which was nice. Will definitely be back.

Looks like a very new site and can see trying to develop around the sites eg trees been planted, fire pits etc. Definitely need more shade. I was only book a night driving throughout to Brisbane but Matt and his father in law came and had a chat which made me feel welcome so thank you. Beautiful sunset and sunrise from the site, it’s amazing.
