20 acres of fertile prime wine growing land in the South Burnett Area, south of Kingaroy and west of Blackbut, north of Toowoomba. Maison Bleu was an old dairy some 100 years back. Located in the heart of the South Burnett Wine Trail. Nanango being the nearest town 3 minutes drive ,is one of the oldest towns in QLD. Old homestead is now fully renovated and was constructed from timber off the property. *****(There will be an upcoming Glam Camping area coming soon. Shower , toilet and breakfast will be on offer. Stay tuned)***** Chicken House/Dairy has been converted to a venue and can be used as an event area. Maison Bleu (Blue House), is now host to 20 Australian bred Drought Master Cattle, Chickens, a Kelpie dog and 3 cats and an abundance of native wild life. 21 Camp Sites. 6 locations on the property. 2 areas private allowing exclusive area use and privacy. 4 areas are with cattle and 2 areas are inside the main homestead grounds which cattle do not have access to. Fruit trees include oranges, mandarins, lemon, nectarines, mulberry, avocado , Fig and finger limes. 3 dams on property. These are not fenced. Many shady trees. Picnic areas with logs to sit on in 2 locations, both with shade. Access and driving around the property will be required in some areas by 4WD. Gentle sloping land with large areas cleared. Most camping sites are near level. Much wild life lives on the property. Wallabies, Kangaroos, Deer. Bird life is abundant.You can Pitch a tent here or stay in your camper, or caravan. 6 campers can share this area. Some areas have recently been levelled so grass is still growing. Kangaroos come down and are all about the property from first light and last light. It’s a very quiet location with an abundance of bird life. Located within the house paddock of the main house is Maison Bleu. (Blue House). There are very old buildings over 100 years old on the property which have been lovingly restored. The property is an active farm with cattle and chickens. Loads of areas to choose from , be it for a reunion for a group or just a single camper. There is also a venue for functions available. Should you choose to have breakfast served country style…this is also on offer. Perhaps an exclusive personalised Wine Tour.
