We are a working farm located in Habana. 110 acres of farm land beside the beautiful Leila Creek Habana. We have a range of farm animals here on the property. Enjoy the rural views and quiet, serene surroundings. Stroll up to the dam past all the farm animals. You can also enjoy a swim in the creek or dam. Forget something? We are only 15 minuted back to town. Have a horse? Bring it as well. We are pet friendly. Enjoy your fire at night while listening to the sound of running creek at your campsite. Fireplaces and firewood available. Bring your fishing gear along as the waterhole is stocked with barramundi if you are into fishing. Currently has a weed infestation so lure fishing challenging. Use weed free lures. Septic toilet and tapped bore water available. Relaxing!!
7 ft pop-up camper · Group trip
Peaceful surrounds. Great little creek to camp by. Darryl very helpful. We had the place to ourselves, the cold weather must of scared everyone else off. Road in was a bit bumpy, but added character. It is a shared road with other residents. Easy access to campsite. We towed in a camper trailer. No problems. Horses to pat. There are sheep and cattle around. Plenty of birdlife. Checked out the dam, would be a good spot in summer time.

Don't waste your time or money👎🏻
21 ft travel trailer
Extremely disappointed in this hip camp stay. First of all no number address of the property was given. We were struggling to find it when a passer by helped us out! The driveway in was just potholes everywhere. The turning into the area for camping was .not appropriate for 21 foot caravan. It was an extremely stressful experience getting in & out without hitting fencin The owner although he helped guiding in he had no understanding of the requirements that a larger van needs in a turning circle. Although it is a farm he should have a property that is appropriate for campers. We felt it was false advertising for the following reasons. - The ground was not level anywhere, you couldn’t get down to the creek as it was overgrown and inaccessible. The dam was also inaccessible to fish as he had his cattle in the paddock and it was just full of weed. The grass was not cut short so we were tripping over stumps in the ground. Our friends cancelled as we advised them not to come, they had 24 hour notice their fore they were able to. We booked for 3 nights and left after one. It was not a picturesque seen. And their was nothing tranquil to look at. We would love our money back as we feel what was provided was in-apropriate. We do a lot of camping at private camp sites and this in eyes was a ridicules venue that was simply a very uneven paddock with a water tank and a toilet. More effort needs to be put into making it a quality venue. Very poor effort ! Go back to farming mate!

Close to Mackay
22 ft Class B
Beautiful location on the creek, close to Mackay. The host was very accommodating and responsive. The camp site is advertised for vehicles under 10m, and our vehicle is 16m, so we checked first before booking., and the host thought we we should be able to get in. On arrival, the entry is very rough, tight, and narrow (we had 25mm clearance on each side when turning into the laneway). I would not recommend for large setups like ours, but it would be suitable for tents and campervans. The camp-site slopes down to the creek, so it was hard to get the van level. It would probably work better if the area was slashed a bit further up the bank where it levels out a little bit more. Overall, very peaceful, picturesque location and would be a great spot if you are looking for a camp site close to Mackay.
